This medicine is applied to the teeth. Follow the directions on the prescription label. Brush with your normal toothpaste and rinse thoroughly. Apply a ribbon of this medicine to teeth using a toothbrush or mouth tray for at least one minute.

Spit out the gel and do not eat, drink or rinse for 30 minutes for best results. Children 6 to 16 years of age should rinse their mouth thoroughly with water after use. Do not use more often than directed. Talk to your pediatrician regarding the use of this medicine in children. While this medicine may be prescribed for children as young as 6 years for selected conditions, precautions do apply.

Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of this medicine contact a poison control center or emergency room at once. NOTE: This medicine is only for you. Do not share this medicine with others. What if I miss a dose? If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you can.

If it is almost time for your next dose, use only that dose. Do not use double or extra doses. What may interact with this medicine? Interactions are not expected. Continue to follow proper dental hygiene, such as regular brushing and flossing.

See your dentist for regular checkups. If this gel is accidentally swallowed, contact a Poison Control Center immediately. Also, prolonged daily ingestion can cause abnormal tooth enamel. Report any signs of abnormal tooth color or staining or spotting of the teeth right away. What side effects may I notice from receiving this medicine?
