Easwaran is a pretty good writer. Mostly he accomplishes this through stories and analogies. One story that especially stands out in my mind is this tale of a spat he witnessed in a young couple. Easwaran compares that to a human using a mantra. Anyone from any spiritual background could use this book. The topics explored in the last half of the book gives one an idea of what advanced spirituality looks like.
